ive noticed that on the younger deer,and deer taken earlier in the season the hair is kinda sticking up in places,not laid down as in most of my mounts,wut can i do to keep some of the hairs standing up? thx in advance.

I would suggest you use regular hair gel, mousse..
and you might wanna wrap it while it dry

maybe you're talking about those little induvidual spread apart hairs sticking up from the regular short hairs. if thats what you see, then those are natural. my early season button bucks have them. i may be wrong but those are winter hairs pushing out the summer hairs. here is what i mean. if thats not it, then you need to card the areas that are sticking up to keep the hair down as the mount dries.

ya thats wut im talking about but i think i misworded it,when i do a mount those go away,id like to keep them standing up.srry for the confusion

like i said that's the summer hair, so it's falling out anyways i guess. i always have trouble keeping it in too. they seem to fall out during tanning. my guess is to mist some hair spray on the remaining hairs before mounting.
