i worked on this doe for about 4 hrs and i still cant get it righ,the manakin is kinda mis shaped around the head and lower neck,so i did everything i know possible but i sill cant quite get it,but u cant really see where its messed up from these pics,ill post some tmomro or when im done.

What form is that?
Nice mount overall, but it looks like you need to tuck the lips in a little more, and refine the shape of the eye, use reference to help u.

ok,took the hide off twice,carved added....til about 3 this morn(u have no idea) and this is all i got......its better but,ive done alot better than this so im not the happiest person right now...its a semi sneak left turn from van dykes 2u9074

Hmm. I haven't used many Van Dyke's forms, but I can tell you this. If you order your deer forms from McKenzie you'll be much happier. I just like how they're made, and every deer I mount on one looks good. I only have to add a bit more clay to form a bigger nose and chin though because these forms are made for smaller southern deer.
