if u remember i did a doe about 3 weeks back and the form was screwed up,its bothered me ever since im gonna try to remount but ive never done this so how do i go about it?once i strip the hide off wut do i use 2 rehydrate it?how do i ensure that hair slippage wont be a prob? btw i used krowtan 2 tan her.

On the last deer i remounted (It had already been mounted for a year and a half) I just filled a big plastic tub with water and submerged the whole mount. It took about a day and a half to rehydrate the whole thing. You should be okay with the doe. I had no problems with hair slippage on this buck's skin. But you may have to re-thin the skin because once it is rehydrated, it seems to get thicker. good luck and keep us posted on the results.
