I just finished some antler repairs and thought I would post some photos to help others. This was my first attempt at it and I was pleased with the final product. The color of the antlers worked out using rich brown laquer and I thinned it down for the G2 repair.First photo I drilled holes in both antlers and matched up holes with the other side. I drilled the holes much bigger than the 8 gauge wire I used to help with not being properly aligned.

Next I apoxied the wires in place by almost filling the holes with the apoxie.

Then I attached the antler holding it in place with wire wrapped around the stable antlers and filled in the gap with more apoxie sculpt.

Texture the apoxie to match the antlers and I painted with a brush the Rich brown laquer. After the paint dried I conditioned the antlers with some antler conditioner from Van Dykes, I painted it on and let it sit for an hour then worked it in with a tooth brush. The anlers look new agin and this buck is over 15 years old.
