I must admit that I was never that lucky in the past, But I have done a lot of homework scouting and my best friend owns 1500 acres in southern Illinois that our hunting camp group has helped to develop into some prime hunting ground. It has 7 stocked fishing ponds, 6 Food plots the biggest is 6 acres. 30 miles of atv trails and a lot of hard work maintaining it. We also practice whitetail management practices so that no one shoots a buck that dosen't go on the wall. It has taken a while but it is now paying off big time. Here are some more photos of bucks taken on the property. This first one is of my buddy the second week of bow season. This is a 185" gross buck

One last phot of our deer camp 2006. We even have the County Sheriff as our camp cook! So I guess you can say yes I am lucky! Lucky to have such a great group of people all enjoying deer hunting and helping out around camp when ever they can. It is hunting paradise!
