Since I'm fed up with both my airbrushes (last new one is shot, just like the first) and they are just not for me, I've been thinking of a new idea. I've been using spray paint in a can, from the store, to paint the inner ears on my whitetails, and it works nicely for me. The best part is, no cleaning, clogging, and the spray paint cans are disposable. Somebody needs to come up with a line of finishing paints for ears in an aerosol can. This would be great for beginners who are starting out but do not want to invest in the hundreds of dollars for an airbrush just yet. What do you all think? I would love to invent/patent this myself but don't know where to start.

I cant for the life of me figure out what you'll are doing to your airbrushes that make them quit on you so soon, I have a pasche single action that is 30 years old and still works fine, a pasche VL that is 16 years old and works as good as it did when I got it and got an Iwata that is 14 years that works wonderful. All I have ever done is keep mine clean and have changed the needle and aircaps a couple times in each one. I have used the waterbase paints and the lacquer paints as well in each of mine also.

I have a pashe VL double action, it works pretty well. I still have trouble laying down a thin layer of paint but that is just me, I obviously need a lot more practice. I keep it clean and it sprays great. I use waterbase paint.

That sounds like a good idea, but I would have no idea how you would go about it. I don't know why you guys are having that kinda problem either. My old VL I have took a lot of abuse before I got it and it still sprays decent. You should try the airbrush I just got I really like it. It was only about $80.

Actually, I don't know how to help you! But I'm really excited about being here and implementing new ideas. That was an unforgettable experience.
