How many of you take credit cards? How many of you consider taking them a worthwhile thing to do?
I started taking them for my mail order fish sales but didn't have many credit card payers locally for the fish sales. But never say never. I've noticed it's snowballing and I'm getting more and more takers. Apparently word of mouth or other factors.
Additonally if you take them what kind of verification system do you use? I just call them in using a touch tone capture system. The other formats seemed too expensive to me.

Cecil, I can take credit cards on my paypal account. That way I do not have the hassle of the small number of non cash or check paying clients. A simple few steps over to this time wasting machine and everything is taken care of. On the verification system, with the firearms on my wall, I do not think I would have a problem, LOL.

No credit cards here, but I am only part time. I don't really have a need for it.

We have the more expensive machine ( $2000 + )...we use it every day multiple times so calling in each transaction is not worth while. I would buy the better machine up front....we have never had a problem. The verifaction is automatic when we swipe the card.
