I just got home from the 2008 Illinois Taxidermy Convention. If you check out the post on start to finish in the freeze drying category you will see the finished mount Brian did and he took two Second Place ribbons with it. I ended up with a Third for my fawn, a Second for my fox and a First and Best of Category in the Freeze Drying category for my quail.

Wel done, congradulations, all look great, would love to have the little fawn, but I think it is illegal to possess in LA, I am checking on that to see.

If you are interested I do have the paperwork from the breeder that shows it was not taken from the wild.

I have written the WLF dept about it and have not yet heard back from them, hat calling cause it takes so long listening to all the Press 1 for English, and press 2 for the housecleaning dept, and press 3 for some other dept crap that I would just as soon email, at least you dont have to stay on the phone so long with them, but I have heard from several people that should know and they say an individual can not possess a spotted fawn in the state of LA. Will let you kn ow as soon as I find out something, by the way let me know what you are asking for it in case I can legally possess it.
