Ok I got a question for you. I have some one that wants their deer hide tanned. I usually send stuff out but this time I was going to try Krowtann for the first time. I know a lot of people have tried it and say it is very easy. What kind of oil works best with Krowtann? Do you guys have any pointers? Or do you guy think I should go with another kind of tan? Thanks for the help.

I just talked with the people that dropped it off and it is there sons first deer. So I think I will send it out. I don't want to take a chance with something like that. Just have to wait till I get my own and try it with that. I would still like to here your answers though for when I decide to try it. Thanks again guys

I think that Krowtann is a good tan. There's a lot of controversy about it, some people like it, some people hate it, but I love it. It's easy to use, just rough flesh the skin and mix up your batch of Krowtann, and stick the skin in it for 3 or 4 days, shaving the hide as you like. I've tanned a few capes with it and like the results. now its time for me to order more. lol
