OK dose anyone use fake deer noses and if so how do they work

Do you mean the replacement septums? It's funny you ask, because I just got done installing one on my doe form. Here is a pic. The first time I used a septum like this, I was inexperienced, so I made the mistake of not properly blending the transition between the skin and the septum, and it looked bad. That is pretty much the key to making these look good, I've been told. Also use reference to paint the septum the correct color. I'm excited to see how this septum will measure up tomorrow when I mount the doe.

andy, here you go. the first one shows how much skin you need to save to tuck (i trimmed it a bit before I tucked it in but you should always make sure you have this much) the second pic shows the nose tucked, it looks just like a regular dremeled nose but in person you can look up in there and see the inner detail.
