Tomorrow Starts the seasons I have been waiting for, Duck and Goose, then in about 3 weeks Pheasants, I will try to keep up with the question for today but can not promise any thing till the end of the year. I still need your help with questions, and if anyone has some time that wants to help with the postings drop me a line.
Another blast from the past.
Question For Today, What is your turn around time? Are you comfortable with your turn around time? Would you like to shorten it or make it longer?

My shop is part time and has a 3 to 4 month turnaround time, my customers and myself are happy with it so it will remain around the same.

My shop is part time also, and has about a 3-4 month turn around with nobody complaining.... Hopefully we will get enough that the turn around will be a little longer this year, just have to wait and see...

Like everyone else so far I'm part time also. 3-4 months is the norm.

My standard line to customers is 6 months maximum but I often get done in 2-3 months.

I am part time as well. I would like to have a faster turnaround time but it is not always possible. Right know with the workload I have it is around 8 to 10 months for birds and fish. I have since gotten a guy who skins for me to help with the workload.

I take up to a year but it depends on the time of year. I am full-time fish specialist and do fish for not only walk ins but two pick up drop off points up to 50 miles away and three local taxidermists. Add to that I do on and off wholesale fish for two taxidermists in Wyoming, one in Mississipi, two in Missouri, and one in PA and Delaware. Additionally my fish supply business keeps me pretty busy seasonally.
I do get them done quick on occasion especially if the customer is antsy. Antsy customers drive me up the wall!
