I looked at all the questions we have had so far and realized we have never addressed the issue of License on the question for today. lets try this all in one, this will be a 4 or 5 part question.
Do you have a License?
Do you need a License in your state?
What are the requirements to have a License?
What do you have to do to get a License?
How much does a License cost in your state?

In Louisiana you only need a business license to practice, and the usual federal bird license if you do birds, business license prices vary from parish to parish and vary each year depending on yearly income, all you have to do is go to your parish planning commission and applyfor license.

yes we need a license in Pa and yes I have one. when I got mine you had to pass an exam, I believe we were the only state to have an exam. you had to pass a written exam do a hands on project in front of the examiners and bring 1 deer mount 1 lifesize mammal mount 1 fish, 1 waterfowl and 1 gamebird and they looked them over like at a competition. took me 3 tries and 3 years to get my permit, now you just have to say your a taxidermist and pay the 100 bucks a year, go figure, one year after I pass my test they do away with it. by the way hi to all, puters been down for over a month so trying to get caught up with everything and everyone
