Questions , Questions Who Has Some Questions!
I started working on birds this week so the next few questions will probable be on birds. If anyone has some questions we can always use ideas just Pm them to me and I will work them in as I can.
Question for today, Do you split the wattles on your pheasants, and if you do have you found an easy way?

I use the bird's original head and use tweesers to fill the wattles with batting through the beak. It fills them out nicely, Just don't over stuff.

I split the wattles, both upper an lower or above the eye as well as below the eye. It gives your bird a cleaner looking wattle. You can use caulking to help fill them,or some of the artificial heads will have wattles on them. To split them I use the back of a scalpel knife blade, I found this works on splitting ears and eyes and lips on your mammals as well.
