looks real good to me, in my opinion if you really want to bring it out a lot more you could put a few dried corn stalks in the base, but thats only my opinion, mounts look really good.

I agree with James you could hide the base a little with some corn stalks or pieces of branch or bark ( the ground looks to clean) I like the way you incorporated the barb wire. Taxidermy is an art where you have to recreate nature as well as the mounts.

Awesome mount, I agree the habitat needs something more though, just on the ground.

Thanks guys. I was thinking the same thing but the guy insisted on leaving it this way. He thought that anything else would take away from the mount it's self.

Well no matterwhat myself or anyone else thinks the customer is the one that counts, so if its right with him then it must be right. After all he is the one paying for it huh.

I noticed the tail also, circle, is it possible the tail mannikin or wrapped tail you used was a little tight at the base? if your pulling your tail skin tightly to sew your incision that will make the hairs lay down, just a possibility, dont get me wrong the overall mount looks nice just trying to help out a little, Derek

That might be it. I didn't notice it till you guys pointed it out in the pic. I'll have to pay closer attention to that area next time. And I am glad it was pointed out. Sometimes when other people look at things they see things that you miss. Thats one of the reasons why I posted the pic. Thanks guys.
