dry him, fluff and brush him. the skin behind the shoulders prolly should have been tucked into the arm pits. eyes should be alittle more rounded. but looks good! squirrels are a big pain in the arse.

Those are cool colored maybe we can work out a trade on one similar to him but with nicer hair----- I have redish very nice some even a real dark red kinda color southern fox squirrel (Long and skinny) avg. 6-1/2 Girth and like 11N-T
I also like those eyes I have a couple extra pair but they are 100% black eyes.

Andy, just a quick question, did you dp or tan him? the reason I'm asking is if you tanned him/her you can realy fluff it up by shampooing and blow drying, thats the main reason i tan my squirrels. nothing makes a squirrel come to life like a good shampoo and conditioner, then back brush as you blow dry, i suppose it might work on a dp'd mount but I would be a little cautious doing it since dp preserves primarily by drying out the skin and wetting it may have detrimental results. either way not too bad for a third squirrel just remember reference reference reference, good luck, Derek

No he is not tanned i am going to start though, i was practicing with some messed up furs and am getting the hang of the whole tanning process. I brushed him out again and hit him with my air bush behind the shoulder to make it look thicker. I will post new pics when i am completely done in my option a mount like this one (practice) is never done.
