I charge by the inch for the full lenght of the fish for a wall mount and if it is a 360 degree pedestal mount I charge 70% more plus the price of the base. I do have a minimum price for fish that are too small to charge by the inch.

I charge a minimum price up to 12 inches and then so much an inch after that. That way if someone brings you a 6 inch fish, if you just charge by inch, you might be mounting it for 30 or 40 dollars. You do the little ones the same way you do big ones

I give a Flat-Rate on small Fish. I List all the Fish in my Price List Like Northern -Trout-Carp ect... so that when a guy comes in with a Hard mount,...I have already have the work don and the guy knows up-front what the price is ! and on the bottom of the price list I have the X-Tras if the fish has to be Fixed,in any way or any X-Tra service is required ..like Pedestal ,both sides ,or standard,..Rember to always get it on a CONTRACT ! so the only thing you have to do is hold to your dead line and you should of had a DOWN PAYMENT of 30-50% ! 30 on regular accounts 50% on your (Friends)...Remember you have to be a Business Man to make you're Car Payments-Rent Fixed Costs....Ect.... Stick to that, and then you can Build up each year ! Buck...
