Not 100% what kind of animal I want to rug but I'd like to try to do a rug. I wasn't going to go real fancy or anything something pretty simple. and not open mouth (cost to much to end up not as good as I hope). I was thinking something like maybe a fox (grey or red I'm not picky)
Anyone got ideas maybe some small tips or anything.

I'm buying traps so that may dictate what animal I mount but not sure.if not I may freeze my first animal to mount in some form or fasion (I'm not rugging a muskrat or something so I wanna be sure first)

A fox or coon rug would be cool. I am maybe going to do one of those soon, or a bobcat rug. The rug I'm working on now is going really good, the sewing isn't that bad. Most people just use a hot glue gun to attach the felt. but sewing will give you a much better end product that will hold up better.
