I have been noticing, mostly on other sites, that some were having trouble with airbrushing, a lot of what I saw was that they were using too much air pressure, I have a 4 HP air compressor with a 25 gallon tank so that I always have enough air, I use other tools besides airbrush, and with airbrush I have found that 25 PSI is the best for me using lacquer based paints. If some of you are having trouble using brush, especially on closeup detail work it could be that you need to lower your Pressure a little. Another thing is always use a moisture trap/filter to keep water out of your paint. Hope this may help someone out. James

I have found that using a higher psi is actually better- with practice. We use 90 psi ( for fish) with great results. We have very little if any spitting- it really blows the paint through We use an 80 gallon compressor, and normally have three men painting at a time. Aaron www.gregandsonsfish.com
