I always get this problem. I've asked this before and everyone told me my airbrush just wasn't being cleaned enough. Are you cleaning it every use? hopefully someone who knows airbrushes will come and answer this for you.

It sounds like its plugged up. What kind of paint are you using? If you are using oil base run some thinner through it. If it is water base try some windex it works good for cleaning the brush. If you still can't get it to go tear it apart and soak and clean everything. Since I got my new airbrush I have been taking it apart and cleaning after every use. It may take a little extra time but once you keep up with it you will find that you will have fewer problems. Hope this helps let me know if you have any other questions.

Try to blow air through the cup with out paint in it to make sure there is nothing in the passage from manufacturing. Do the same for the needle also. It sounds like you have something blocking the flow somewhere.

if its not sucking, then sounds like either the cup isnt securely fit, ortheres a defect, maybe call the factory.

Hey DB I didn't realize it was new. But it still can be caused by dry paint. I'm not sure if all airbrush companies do it but I know Iwata test sprays all there brushes so there might be some paint left over from that. It sounds like there is paint dried on the tip or needle. I would tear it completely down and give it a good once over and check for dried paint or something that is blocking the path.
