I try to enter my state competition each year.
I am thinking about entering the Arizona show this year, I will make it a full trip seeing the grand kids, drooping of a pet , and looking for a condo to use as we need. May be collect some mesquite and drift wood for mounts.

I used to compete every year and even competed at IGT when it still existed. I've pretty much lost interest and frankly can't justify the cost anymore. Anymore the green ribbons with president's faces on them make me more happy when I can get them.
I will say it was probably the single most important thing that brought my work up to the level it is whatever that is. ;D

I've never tried it, I was going to enter our competition this year but couldn't justify the expense since I had some unexpected expenses. Maybe I'll be able to try 2011.
