Just finished a couple of weeks ago. This was my first cast lip open mouth mount. Cost more for the mannikin but saved a lot of time not having to thin lips and nose and set jawset and paint. The only paint is on eyes. other than that I blended fur with black epoxie putty. The hide was from a spring coyote so it wasn't as prime as I was looking for but was all I had at the time.

Very nice. I haven't used the cast lips or nose yet, but they look great. Good job.

Very nice job. Is it hard to learn how to mount coyotes? I'm a deer taxidermist.

Yes it is the cast lip system from Mc Kenzie and I thought it went fairly easy compared to a deer. The ears could have been better in my opinion and it would have been nice to have winter fur instead of spring. Thanks for the comments.
