Like I said earlier I will never do another one cause it is a real pain, well at least i will never do another one unless someone has really DEEP pockets. fleshing on that fish was the really worst part but I took my time and fleshed it probably better than anything I have ever fleshed before, I did nick the skin in a few spots and had to repair after mounting. The rib detail was put on after mounting, I coated the form with Liquid Nails and let set for about an hour before mounting, then after mounting waited about 6 hours then used a small wire detailing tool and put each of the rib details in by hand, took me and an artist (sculpturer) friend of mine about 3 hours to get them all done and they are only on the front side. I did use a cast head and fins though.
? Looking for a wayto fix broken fins on already mounted fish...And how to blend the color to match the fish already painted??? need some help please!!!!!
