What kind of glue do you all use for gluing the teeth back in a skull? Also I need to glue the lower jaw back in too. Thanks for any help,
Nina

I use a product called Tech Bond Black (thick Viscosity), it works like super glue but not quite as fast and I think a 2oz. bottle is a lot cheaper. I use it for everything lips, eyes, Artificial heads, Etc. I don't pore it from the bottle (the Tip glues itself) I dip a scrap wire in the bottle and it only takes a drop.

I know Dan Rinehart, Van Dikes, Waco, most of your suppliers have it just have to check for price. I would not get a bottle larger than 2oz it goes a long way.

I was replacing the fletching on some extra arrows today, and just for kicks, I used the fletching glue I bought to glue the teeth in my raccoon skull. It took a while to set, but it is clear and durable and worked good. I wouldn't keep using it though, it was just a quick fix.

I was told once to use elmers glue. I have tried to use it and it seems to work good. it dries clear and is easier to clean up then some of the other glues.

The problem with Elmer's glue is the time it takes to set. Fletch tight and crazy glue work but both of them are a little on the runnier side. Teck bond thick viscosity dries quick and when you put a drop on something it is similar to a drop of Elmer's glue

if you use the super glue gel as it is thick and much the same as the tech bond.

If you put the teeth back in while the skull is still wet right out of the peroxide and use Elmer's, by the time the skull is done drying the Elmer's is long done drying too. If you EVER need to get those teeth out again, with Elmer's you can just soak the skull in warm water for awhile and it dissolves.
