ideas on what to do with em other than,gun rack,thermometer,and lamp?

Hmm...I cleaned out a few deer hooves and made an indian style decoration with them with the skin of a racccoon and a muskrat wrapped over a hoop. I'll have to get a pic

take a toilet tissue cardboard roll split down one side end to end, insert it into sewn up leg skin down to the hoof. pack the roll full of paper, attach to a base of your liking and let dry. after it has dried, remove tube, trim to desired height, and BAM - pencil holder. i make the hoof set at an angle to where the rear of the hoof is at a slight up angle. just play with it and see what you like. they sell pretty good on eBay, or they used to. i havent done any in quite awhile.
